The brother of a US banker who vanished from the Costa del Sol in January says the family will ‘never give up’ searching for him.
Grant Barr, 37, was staying with friends and relatives in Estepona when he disappeared on January 28.
A pair of his trousers and his passport were mysteriously located near to a beach in the resort.
His brother James Barr told the Spanish Eye this week that the police appear to have run out of leads.
He said: ‘Unfortunately there have been no updates, my father is still there and we may be heading back to Spain in a week or two.

‘While thoughts of the worst come into all our heads from time to time, we all remain hopeful that we will reconnect soon.’
James said the Spanish police have an open missing person’s file on Grant, but admitted he is ‘not sure how much there is to do on their end given we are now over 60 days in.’
He added: ‘To my knowledge, they have followed up on the leads they have received, but nothing really materialised from them.’
James said he worries about his family but insisted ‘we won’t stop’ searching for Grant.
Grant has brown hair, green eyes and is of a slim build, measuring around 5ft7 in height.
He works in the finance sector in New York and regularly visits Estepona to see family.
According to his LinkedIn page, Grant has worked at major corporations, including Citi.
