The Spanish Eye is an English-language news website covering all things Spain. It was launched on March 29, 2025 by Laurence Dollimore, a British journalist who has been covering news in the country for almost a decade.

Laurence is NCTJ-trained and was awarded a Gold Star Diploma in Multimedia Journalism by the prestigious News Associates in London. He has previously worked at the MailOnline as a senior reporter at their London offices, and has continued to work for a range of UK titles on a freelance basis in Spain, including The Telegraph, Daily Mail, the Sun and the Sun Online.

The Spanish Eye offers the latest news, opinion and analysis that will interest all English-speaking lovers of Spain, particularly regular holidaymakers to the country and expats living there.
