A huge fire has gutted several businesses on a street in Alicante.
The inferno took hold in a warehouse between Calle Juan Carlos I and Calle Juan de Dios in Alicante on Sunday evening.

The flames quickly spread to a neighbouring gym and a supermarket.
Footage shared on X shows thick black clouds of smoke billowing into the sky.
According to local reports, firefighters were called to the scene at around 8.30pm.
It took them more than three hours to battle the flames, with the blaze finally being brought under control at 11.55pm.
The fierce fire completely engulfed the premises, even partially collapsing a wall.
There have been no reports of injuries following the incident.
The Provincial Fire Consortium is performing an inspection to declare the flames officially extinguished.
