A snake has been recovered in Sevilla after being found slithering in a girl’s bed.
The python was found by the young local at around 3.55am on Wednesday.
She immediately called police on the 092 number in a ‘state of distress’ and ‘crying’, according to Emergencias Sevilla.
In a statement, the emergency service said the girl had no idea where the animal came from nor who it belongs to.
Police have now launched an investigation to track down the owner.
The snake is safe and beeing looked after by professionals at the Zoosanitary.
