A British man has been arrested in Spain over the brutal assault of two US soldiers in Germany.
The wanted 32-year-old was dramatically arrested by national police while attempting to breeze through passport control at Alicante-Elche airport on the Costa Blanca.
It came after German authorities issued a European Arrest Warrant in his name on July 5.
The Brit is accused of ‘randomly’ attacking two American soldiers outside a ‘well known restaurant’ in Germany on June 2.
In the early hours of that morning, the bodybuilder, who is trained in martial arts, is said to have pounced on the victims with the help of two others.
The Brit is said to have an ‘exceptional’ physique, allowing him to take out the military men with ease, knocking them unconscious ‘without much effort’.
According to police, he continued to beat and kick the men in their heads when they were lying motionless on the ground.
He only fled the scene when witnesses said they had called in police, it is claimed.
The two soldiers suffered serious injuries and doctors reportedly feared for their lives.
The Briton will be extradited to Germany where he will stand trial over the incident.
